Yes. All of the mushrooms in our products are 100% legal. Our products contain functional mushrooms, which have been used for hundreds of years due to their medicinal properties and superfood benefits.

Functional mushrooms are mushrooms that provide a positive contribution to health, beyond just their basic nutritional value. Functional mushrooms are superfoods containing many vitamins and minerals. While each type of mushroom has its own unique properties, overall they may contribute to a variety of positive health benefits such as better sleep, better digestion, clearer skin, reduced anxiety, treatment of allergies and asthma, reduced inflammation, improved bone health, and promotion of a stronger immune system to help your body fight colds and other illnesses more efficiently.

Our products are rigorously tested for purity and contaminants all along the production process in order to unlock the full medicinal benefits of mushrooms.

These include complete microbial testing for any bacteria, yeast, and mold; heavy metals testing; pesticide testing; and testing for purity and active compounds.

Adaptogens are non-toxic plants and herbs that help the the body resist stressors of all kinds, whether physical, chemical or biological, to bring you back to a state of homeostasis. These plants and herbs have been used for centuries in Chinese and Ayurvedic healing traditions.

We encourage you to experiment with how you take our products. Here are some guidelines to get you started, but this is your protocol - not ours. And once you find what works best for you - tell us about it.

All of our capsules are vegan, gluten-free, soy-free and corn-free. They contain organic functional mushrooms and the highest quality, natural ingredients. Our capsules are free from fillers, binders, GMOs, and preservatives.

We recommend taking our products daily to maximize the cognitive health benefits. We encourage you to experiment with your own protocol and find what works best for you. More specifically -


Sunbeam - you can take up to 4 doses (8 capsules) a day; we recommend not taking 3-4 hours prior to sleep


Golden Hour - you can take up to 2 doses (4 capsules) a day


Moonlight - you can take up to 3 doses (6 capsules) a day

Lithium orotate is an over-the-counter nutraceutical that consists of orotic acid (a compound produced naturally in the body) and lithium (an alkali metal). Lithium is present in the diet, mainly in grains and vegetables, which is why the supplement is often called “nutritional lithium.” Lithium orotate is not the same as lithium prescribed by a doctor, which is typically called lithium carbonate and lithium citrate. When prescribed by a doctor, dosages of lithium can reach 1,800 mg daily. Golden Hour contains 2 mg of lithium orotate per dose, which may help protect neurons against damage, has antioxidant properties that may reduce inflammation, and can support a healthy state of wellbeing.*

All of the colors you see in the capsules are naturally derived from food, including curcumin, chlorophyll, turmeric, and red cabbage.

Oxytocin is a powerful hormone that acts as a neurotransmitter in the brain, and is naturally produced in the body. It's also referred to as the "love hormone" or the "cuddle hormone" as it causes feelings of love and connection. Golden Hour supports the body’s natural production of the oxytocin hormone to mitigate stress and boost the mind-body connection.


Moonlight supports the body’s natural production of the GABA neurotransmitter, which relaxes the central nervous system and reduces fear, anxiety and stress, preparing the brain and body for sleep.

Managing Your Subscription

Yes, of course. One-time products can be added to your subscription order any time before your order is charged. Login to your customer portal to add products:


• Click the Subscriptions tab and select Edit next to the subscription to which you want to add a product.

• Hover over the product you want to add and select "Add one-time". This automatically adds the product to your shipment.

You can update existing shipping addresses from the Shipping tab:
• Log in to your customer portal.
• Click on Shipping. This will display all shipping addresses on your customer account.
• Click the link on a specific address to update as needed. Click on the Add Address button to add a new address.
You can add multiple addresses to your account. This is helpful if you travel frequently or need to send your supplements to a different address from time to time. Just make sure to select the correct address for your next order before it's charged.

To update general payment information:

• Log in to the customer portal.
• Click the Payment Methods tab.
• Expand the payment method to be adjusted and select Edit.
Orders that are already in process cannot be edited so make sure to add your new info before your next order is charged.

Log in to your customer portal to skip a delivery.

• Click the Delivery Schedule tab to see all upcoming deliveries for your subscriptions.
• Click Skip next to the delivery you would like to skip. If you want to unskip a delivery, click Unskip next to the order.
You can also pause or change your next delivery date.
• Click Subscriptions and then click on Edit.
• You will be taken to a page where you can edit the next order date for your subscription.
• Once you select the new charge date you can click on the Update next shipment date.

Once your account is activated, you've got all the control to make any changes to your account at any time. Add product to your next order, change your delivery date, skip a delivery or pause your account.
If you ever need help, you can also reach out to the Customer Concierge Team at any time.

Should you ever need to cancel, you can do so from in your account. Click through to make edits to your subscription, and at the bottom of that page, there is a button to click to cancel the account. Make sure you cancel your account 24 hours before your next shipment. Once an order is processed, we're unable to cancel the order or make any changes.

Orders & Shipping

We will send you an email with tracking as soon as your order ships. From there, you can keep an eye on things along the way.

Typically all orders ship within 24-48 hours when ordered Monday - Friday. If you place an order over the weekend, it will ship within the next two business days. Orders within the US generally take 4-7 business days to arrive and orders to Canada take between 7-10 business days to arrive.

Email our Customer Concierge Team if you believe your order is lost, and we'll get a new order out to you ASAP.
If your order's tracking says delivered but you don't see it, check with a neighbor or around your mailbox. If you still can't find it, let us know and we'll get you taken care of.

Let us know what's damaged and we'll send you a replacement. If one of your sachets is damaged, please dispose of the capsules just to be on the safe side.

At the moment, we ship to the 50 states within the US, and to Canada.

We cannot accept returns. If there is a problem with your order, or you would like to cancel any future shipments, please contact our Customer Concierge Team.

Yes and yes. All of our packaging materials are recyclable and the sachets are compostable.
The tins are reusable and, fun fact, magnetic! Stack them on your desk or stick them to your fridge as a reminder to take your supplements.

We've partnered with Batch to make it really easy to reorder our products. If you don't have a subscription (really, what are you waiting for?), simply scan the QR code on the back of each tin or sachet to quickly reorder any First Person product.

Loyalty Program

  • Log into your account on the Rewards Panel
  • Next, scroll down just a bit and click on Ways to redeem (do not click Redeem for one-time purchase).
  • If you have enough points for one of the rewards, you’ll see a VIEW button next to it.
  • Click on the VIEW button
  • You’ll see a Redeem button. Click Redeem to use your points.
  • Copy the coupon code and click ‘Discount a subscription’ button. That will take you directly to where you can manage your account and add the discount code.
  • Click into your upcoming order. Then, click into any one of the supplements in your subscription.
  • Scroll down and click "Add discount."
  • In the popup, you can now input your discount code. Discount codes are case-sensitive and a subscription can only have one discount applied at any time.
  • To confirm, select “Apply discount”. This discount code will now be applied to your entire subscription and will be valid on your next upcoming order.
