We chose to grow our own fruiting body Lion's Mane mushrooms on hardwood — the way they grow in nature. That mattered to us. Not because it sounds romantic, but because quality starts upstream. If you want a better ingredient, you need a better raw material.

But growing a better mushroom was only the beginning.

Some of Lion's Mane's most interesting functional compounds — including hericenones — are bound up within the mushroom's cell walls, which are made of chitin. Human beings do not efficiently break down chitin. So even if a mushroom contains valuable compounds, that does not automatically mean your body can access them effectively.

That distinction shaped everything that came next.

We built an extraction process to unlock what matters

To get more from Lion's Mane, we developed a proprietary extraction method designed to release the functional compounds from the cell walls — moving Lion's Mane from being merely present to being more available to the body.
